STUDY FOR TOD POTENTIAL ALONG THE COIMBATORE METRO CORRIDOR
Status : Ongoing
Government of Tamil Nadu has decided to implement a Mass Rapid Transit system in Coimbatore City as a measure to mitigate the increase in traffic. CMRL has proposed Mass Rapid Transit System (MRTS) network in Coimbatore comprising of five corridor alignments to support increasing commuting needs of the city.
Proposed MRTS corridor in Coimbatore comprises of two sections, namely Priority and Non-Priority Section. Creative Footprints has been appointed by Eternis Energy Ventures Pvt. LTd. for conducting this TOD study.
TOD DESIGN OF CHANDIGARH ISBT, SECTOR 43
Status : Ongoing
This assignment integrates all on-going and proposed transformation through TOD redevelopment of ISBT.
Redevelopment of ISBT Sector-43 on principles of TOD through PPP.
Provide a new Retail Public Frontage for the terminal building along Vikas Marg.
Providing Pedestrian walkways, skywalks and crossing facilities.
Proposing mixed-use development.
PROPOSAL FOR INTEGRATED GREEN DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR WESTEND GREEN
Completed : August 2021
The project aims to prepare a Green Development Area Scheme for Westend Greens, Delhi under the Westend Green Farms Welfare Society. Under this scheme, a green area structure plan is to be prepared for the projected population holding capacity while ensuring minimal changes in environmental conditions.
The plan shall demarcate plantation zones, wooded areas, grass beds, landscape areas along with a stormwater management framework comprising runoff directions, storm water drains, rainwater recharge zones and recharge potential.
BHUBANESHWAR STREET DESIGN AND PARKING MANAGEMENT PLAN
Completed : December 31, 2021
As part of the Smart City Mission launched by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs in partnership with GFA consulting group, the Bhubaneshwar PMP and TMP supports planning and implementation of sustainable urban transport projects in the fields of non-motorized transport, public transport, or multi modal integration. As part of the assignment following work were undertaken:
Preparation of parking management plan for respective corridors.
Preparation of street design and junction design templates for respective corridors.

As part of the assignment codes for Railway Heritage Assets are prepared. Phase II tasks are as follows:

Study of Railway Heritage Assets types, response to Heritage Assets while redeveloping railway stations.

TRANSIT ORIENTED DEVELOPMENT ALONG PANVEL - VIRAR NEW SUBURBAN CORRIDOR

Corridor assessment has been conducted for an area of 1Km radiating from the centroid of respective stations along the corridor (Panvel-Virar suburban railway line). Detailed studies and TOD proposals for an area of radius 500m from the centroid of New Panvel,Taloje Panchanand, Pimplas and Bhiwandi Road stations have also were prepared.

CHANGSPA RD REJUVENATION, LEH TOWN, J&K, INDIA

The project demonstrates a perfect example of comprehensive street rejuvenation driven through public participation and spearheaded by public agencies.
Pedestrianized Leh Town Square laid the basis for rejuvenation of other streets of the town. Changspa Road was taken up as the first corridor for rejuvenation.
DESIGN OF TOD AT BATMALOO, SRINAGAR, J&K

Creative footprints was engaged by Traffic Advisor to Govt. of Jammu and Kashmir for creating schemes for Transit Oriented Development for the Batmaloo City Center for Srinagar City. The concept scheme was developed on the principles of TOD, contextualized for the water-centric city of Srinagar.

NON-MOTORISED TRANSPORT MASTER PLAN FOR NAGPUR CITY

As part of the assignment the Non-Motorised Transport Master Plan, including Public Bicycle sharing scheme, Multi-Modal Integration Schemes for all stations and proposals for Urban Place Making have been recommended. The project is in the implementation stage.
DESIGN OF AMBAZARI LAKE FRONT, NAGPUR

The proposal for place making around Ambazari lake in Nagpur was prepared to encourage walking, cycling and active use of the lake front. The proposal would also encourage active use of the metro services.

The proposal for ecomobility corridor along green strip from Jaiprakash Nagar metro station upto Ambazari Lake was prepared to create a linear park for walking and cycling.
MMI AND URBAN PLACE MAKING SCHEMES FOR NAGPUR CITY

As part of the Non Motorised Transport Plan for Nagpur city, Urban Place Making schemes were prepared for selected areas. These schemes intended to encourage active use of public spaces along metro corridor thereby encouraging people to walk and cycle.

As part of the assignment, 100 Km of roads were identified for improvement of walking and cycling infrastructure. Total coverage of the Master Plan is 100 Sq Km approx. Most proposals have been implemented.
PUBLIC BICYCLE SHARING SCHEMEÂ FOR KOCHI CITY

As part of the assignment, Public Bicycle Sharing Scheme was proposed with coverage of 65 Sq Km of area along metro corridor. The full system would have 177 Bicycle Docking Stations and 1900 bicycles.

Our principal Urban Designer was part of the team at UTTIPEC headed by Sr. Consultant Paromita Roy, involved in the preparation of TOD Influence Zone Plan for Zone J of Delhi and led the Urban design/ planning analysis on behalf of UTTIPEC for preparation of the Integrated Land Use and Transport Model.
